This project consisted of about nineteen miles of sidewalk at Silver Springs Shores. The project required providing all materials, equipment, labor, and other items needed for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of more or less nineteen (19) miles of new sidewalk. We teamed up with Kimely Horne and Associates to provide us with the engineering to complete this project. Due to the county's budget, approximately 13 of the 19 miles were constructed during this phase.

We replaced an old worn out bridge with this 4' x 12' precast box culvert. We place sheet piling on both sides of the canal and pumped the water out of our work area. We had to continually pump water from one side to the other so it would not back up into people's yards. We encountered "gumbo" clay which was not anticipated, but were still able to bring the job in under the city's original budget. We also completed the guardrail and roadwork with our own forces.
